I have worn glasses my entire life and I LOVE glasses. I make a point of walking into any and every eyeglass shop I see. Not only did I purchase several pair from David but I brought in several well loved pair that needed refurbishing. The time and care that he takes absolutely astounds me! My vintage glasses are like brand new! My new glasses are perfectly adjusted. This is hands down the best place for glasses in Vancouver. Customer service is over the top!

We came back after two years due to my son's eyes exam. He needed a new pair of glasses. They really took care of us. Owner did not hesitate to open a new arrivals for us. Out of the box, we got our new glasses. Make sure you call them ahead of time in order the get an appointment. Before I found them, I stopped almost every glasses shop on Broadway which was disappointment. They even tried to sell us 5 years old dusty frame. So if you are shopping for your kid look no further. You can trust this shop.

The people at The Spectacle Shoppe are amazing. They have great selection, great advice and make sure everything is correct and good with your new glasses, whatever it takes. I even buy frames when travelling but always bring them to the Spectacle Shoppe to get the lenses because it gets done right.

I have shopped at dozens of eyeglass stores and i have never had such a positive experience. Leo was very knowledgeable and helpful, answering all my numerous questions. He didn't make me feel rushed..and i took a long time trying on numerous pairs. I can never imagine going anywhere else now. They also have a great selection of quality frames. If you like to feel welcome coming into a shop then you are at the right place. If you like to feel the owner have all the time in the world for you , enough to ask many questions without seeing seller rolling his eyes!! If you like to receive advise on fitting... If you want to try frames until you find the right one without any kind of pressure to buy then this is the place for you. It was our first pair for our child. We didn’t know much about glasses. David thank you for the advise , lovely chat, and welcoming atmosphere you created in your shop Leo thank you for following up with our insurances wish your business all the best. Will come back again and again when needed. Note : during covid 19 by appointment only -You will sanitise your hand before coming in and put every pair you try in the side to be cleaned.
